This chair came extremely well packaged in a cardboard box (that was very heavy) - literally each item was packed in sheet foam or cardboard - there were no loose pieces. That was the first thing that impressed me.The second thing that impressed me was this chair was made in China (of course), but OMG! The instruction manual that came with it was Incredible. They laid out and precisely illustrated each step in better English than most of us even speak! Then came the assembly. It came with a single size "T-style" allen wrench that was the same for every screw. The screws themselves were precisely packaged in blister on cardboard, and every group of screws was Clearly marked specifically what it was for with both words and a number. It was very easy to assemble and took me just over an hour with interruptions to put it all together. The pieces were really intuitive, but they took the time to make pointers if there was any possible question - like the underside of the chair in the front is labeled "front" and the arms, which are referred to as left and right, but some people may not realize that when you have the chair upside down that appears reversed, so the arms also have a label under them that says "front" with an arrow that should point at the front of the chair. Other things like the legs of the chair only go on one way so there is no question there, and they do tell you what order to tighten the screws. All of the screws also already have threadlocker on them to minimize them coming loose. You can also use the box as a stand for then you assemble the bottom and back. I think a 6th grader could probably assemble this chair (may need help tightening screws enough). They do provide one of each screw as a spare in case you manage to lose one. What I like:The whole seating portion of the chair is all mesh and is well ventilated for us bigger folks. The only exception is the front of the chair seat where they also put foam under the mesh to keep id comfortable on your legs. The lumbar support appears to be in the perfect position for me and it supports my back well. One big thing for me is that this chair goes high enough up (!!!!) so that I don't have to curl my feet under me and it feels great to be able to have my feet flat on the floor while I sit. It goes down a good ways too. I am just short of 6 feet. If you are really short they have a way you can contact them to get a shorter piston for under the seat, so they thought of that too. There are the standard features where if you pop in the raise/lower lever it locks the chair back, and if you pull it out you can use tilt (with the standard tension adjuster), and the back relationship to the seat is adjustable. The chair arms can both slide forward and back to adjust to where you like them (a bit too easily, maybe), and pivot in and out as well as they are height adjustable. I don't think I missed anything. What could be improved:The chair comes with a headrest like in your car, but as I said I'm just short of 6 feet, and I would need a good 4 or 5 more inches to be able to raise it up above the seat back if I'm going to rest my head against it. The back is "adjustable", but unlike many office chairs where you loosen a knob, slide it where you want it and tighten the knob, in this case there are 3 screws to loosen, make the adjustment and tighten. If only one person is going to use the chair it's probably set and forget, but in an office that might have several people sharing the chair that might be an issue. However, that 3 bolt setup is unlikely to come loose and have your seat back flopping around like I have had with other chairs. When I try to pull the chair into me like sitting at a table the armrest pads slide forward (not hard to slide back once seated, but...) this might be improved with some kind of release button or tension knob, but it's not a huge deal. It's also very easy to have them pivot when you go to move the chair, but again that is easily put back as desired.Things it's too early to comment on:I've had this chair about a week and really like it so far. I am well under the weight limit for this chair, and so far I've found it comfortable to sit in for hours, but my previous office chair had a webbed bottom and the webbing eventually came loose after a time. This one DOES seem like a much better assembly and the plastics are much heavier than my previous chair so I am optimistic that it will remain comfortable. Right now it's great.I hope you found this review helpful. I try to make my reviews as accurate as I can based on my experiences (good or bad) and am not afraid to speak my mind if I don't like a product, but at the same time suggest things that might improve it. Right now, with what I know, if I had to buy another of these chairs I certainly would, and only knocked off one star because of my comments about adjusting the back and not being able to use the headrest.Super comfortable chair! Looses points for hiding the assembly manual under the seat cushion, the flashy chrome on the back, and the sharpness the mesh produces around the edges. Overall, it's highly adjustable. I sit at my desk for 8 hour work days and this chair has helped a lot! I'm 6ft tall and scrawny, so I was having a heck of a time finding a comfortable chair. I could use an inch or two lower on the height, but otherwise super comfortable. Should be considered if there's a good deal.My acupuncturist wanted me to upgrade my office chair because of my back and leg pain/numbness. This has all of the features needed and I love the blue color for my office. I am a little short so my feet aren't flat on the floor even in the lowest position so I had to buy a foot pillow but now it's great and very comfortable.I got the chair on prime day and it was pretty easy to assemble - just follow the instructions. The chair has amazing lumbar support and won’t heat up in the summers due to the mesh. I also want to talk a bit about the customer service. They were super fast and even reached out to send a complementary set of glide wheels as my hard wood floors were getting scratched.TLDR: 10/10Great chair for office workHelped my back issues with my old WFH chair. The lumbar support is a game changer.Chair provides good support and was easily assembled. All screws were well organized and simple to match with Rabun step in the assembly.Durability unknown, only had it a couple weeks. Will try to remember to update in a year.UPDATE: Company has contacted me, sent me a different set of wheels and new arm rests. Now the chair does not squeak. It appears it was the wheels causing the squeaks. Great customer service, very quick to respond to me and fix the issues I had initially. They were very kind and didn’t mind helping me out.I just got this chair one day ago, I’ve only been using it for one full day. My chair did not come with instructions, the left arm rest appears to have a big scratch, I’ve tried wiping it down with a little water thinking it was just a stain but it is a deep scratch. Not only that everytime I move the chair there is a creaking/squeak noise. I am pretty annoyed because the chair in the back (view picture) I’ve had it for 3 years and to this day it does not squeak, but the arm rests & seat started wearing & tearing I had only bought that ergonomic chair for $156 with tax. This chair looks futuristic but $300 to get a squeaking scratched chair? The worse part is I cannot even return it. Taking the chair apart & putting it back in the box would be a nightmare. I’m a little frustrated I was on the fence between this chair and a renewed Herman Miller chair for $400. It’s my fault for wanting to save money. I’m very disappointed!! Not only that the wheels are extremely stiff & low quality. I have to practically drag the chair by the back to get it to move, I can’t just roll with it. I have to get up each time to move it. Super annoying. I just hope it lasts, it’s pretty comfortable but quality control is awful! How can a $300 chair be squeaking after one day of usage!!
