This is a sturdy rolling chair, not tipsy. It arrived with all the parts for assembly. It's fairly comfortable for short periods of time. I wouldn't want to sit in it all day as the backrest tilts at an angle and you'll find yourself leaning forward with nothing supporting your back. I kept it for the price and I do like the footrest.Bought this for my desk at work and it is great!!Stopped going after 4 days only 4 hours of useI am weight 205 poundsI spend a lot of my life in my garage/shop. It is heated, air conditioned and even partially carpeted. My garage is my "office" and I needed a new chair for my computer bench. I had a custom made "executive bar stool" (a high back leather chair mounted on a swivel bar stool) which needed replacing so I figured a drafting chair would be a perfect option as my bench height is 36".This chair comes in a large plain box and requires assembly. It goes together very easily with all parts and hardware clearly labeled. The seat is very comfortable with plenty of moderately firm cushioning. The arms are small and lightly padded but are adjustable up and down. The foot rest ring is adjustable and very secure and solid once tightened.There are 2 things I don't like. The back is at an odd angle and feels like it's reclined. Sitting all the way in the seat, you have to really lean back to contact the backrest. It doesn't feel natural or comfortable. Also, I was expecting a taller seat back as this one is very low. I have also found a possible defect. The cylinder seems to loose pressure and the chair sinks down randomly. It is inconsistent and as of now I will just deal with it.All in all, this chair is decent. It is hard to find a tall chair at this price point. I may still keep looking for a more comfortable chair but for now this one works. I am rating this chair 4 stars.I put together my own desk in a new space using reclaimed wood and those Steampunk-looking pipes that serve as legs for tables in industrial areas. The end result was a desk that is more of a standing desk than a sitting desk. Every other traditional office chair in the house was woefully too small, so I found this one instead.Pros:-It's easy-to-assemble.-It fits my space right where I want it.-The adjustable arms have been clutch for tucking the chair in under the tall desk when away.Cons:-Not specific to this chair, but the wheels that come with it look like they will eat up the wood flooring over time. I replaced them right away with the little roller-blade-looking wheels that are soft and glide easily across hard flooring.-Something is a bit off. I don't feel that it's ergonomically set right. I'm still playing around with it, but more often than not, I find myself sitting forward in the chair, which is causing lower back and neck strain over time. So I need to figure that out soon.-I feel like the range of height could be a bit wider. I can't sit on the chair with my feet flat on the ground, and I feel like if it came down one more inch, it would be more practical to me.-The last thing, and I know this is nit-picky, but the width of the arm rests is too wide for me.Overall it's great, but until I get used to, or adjust the comfort level, I'm not sitting at this for long stretches at a time. That might be for the best though.This is a drafting chair and is intended to sit higher. At it's lowest setting I cannot reach the ground (nearly 6' tall). At its highest setting the chair doesn't feel 100% stable and rocks a bit side to side. That is probably me nit picking a bit but worth noting.The chair is simple and straightforward to assemble and works well with my standing desk. The arms are adjustable so I can configure those to the desired height rather than being stuck with what the manufacturer decided. This is a good chair for drafting or sitting higher than usual and for that I recommend it. If you are looking for a chair that also works well at standard desk heights, I would look elsewhere.I ordered this chair to use with my drawing desk, and I really love it. The chair is very comfortable and the quality seems to be great!I love that the arm rests are adjustable in addition to the height of the chair. I just wish the height of the chair adjusted just a bit lower than it does, as it can barely fit under my (fairly tall) desk. The attached foot rest is nice, since my feet do not touch the ground while sitting in this chair.A very good drafting chair. In my view this is what a proper drafting chair should be like. This chair would be improved if it were capable of going lower. It’s lowest level is so high but quite a few people would not be able to comfortably get inFor me, it is perfect.
