This office chair was a game changer for me, especially now that I work from home and have been having neck and back issues. My old chair was falling apart so I decided to get this chair. Under $300, very comfortable, supportive in the neck and lumbar area and makes me more aware of my posture while sitting at a desk for 8 hours a day, which the body was not designed to do. The only thing I don't like is the positioning of the arm rests. A little wide for me. But all in all a GREAT chair for the price. I would recommend to others.I have had this chair for 4 months now, it is in a shared area of the house and gets use by 4 people weighing from 160 to 285lbs. So far it does not squeak or feel loose in anyway. The lift mechanism still works great and the mesh support has not sagged or torn. I noticed straight out of the box that it felt super sturdy. Assembly was just like any other chair. The bolts and hardware felt decent and did not strip even though I used an impact drill to assemble vs included Allen wrenches. I will very likely be buying a couple more of these in the near future.As for comfort, the chair is way more comfortable than higher priced “gaming” chairs I have owned, lumbar support is good and the headrest is functional and well placed. The mesh is nice for long sessions and avoids a sweaty behind.My wife has started working from home and loves this new chair. She’s sitting for a full 7-8 hours a day. She has a history of major back surgery. TheGabrylly's Ergonomic Office Chair has been just what she needed for comfort and support! After registering the warranty, we received, at no cost, a memory form lumbar support which attaches to the chair! One issue I had with the chair when it first arrived was that the armrests moved up and down but did not rotate so that our arms remained resting while we typed. I called to ask if I could purchase and replace the armrests with ones that swiveled. Within about five days, we received, again at NO CHARGE, replacement armrests that swiveled, and we’re fully adjustable! What a pleasant surprise in a time when “Customer no-Service” is the norm!!After recently retiring, I decided I needed a complete change out of my "working from home office gear". The Gabrylly Ergonomic Office Chair was the perfect solution. Great price point, easy to assemble, very solid (I am a big boy, 6'4" ; 250 lbs.) and with the washable arm pads, more comfortable that my previous very expensive, Haworth chair.I work from home for 11 1/2 hours from Monday to Friday, I’m 250lbs, so I was looking for a chair that can support me the entire day and is not too expensive. I was about to pull the trigger on an Xchair until I came across this chair.I did as much research as possible on this chair and with that was confident enough to make the purchase. After having this chair for a couple of weeks, one of the things I like about this chair is how wide the chair is, it gives me space to shift, and even sit half Indian on the chair. The armrests are wide enough where my arms rest comfortably while being open so air can go up the insides of my arms. I sit with a fan pointing up under me. Another chair would have my arms closer to my side so that my sides are still warm even with my fan. Another plus is the mesh, so it avoids your rear becoming too hot. I’m happy with this purchase and I suggest also buying the padded armrests with the with wheels, which is what I did. Also, the version of the chair I purchased comes with a back rest. It doesn’t need the back rest but it took my 4 star rating to a 5 star.This chair is so comfortable I sometimes recline it back and take a nap and use it for gaming.The only suggestion I have for this chair is that it should have a locking mechanism for the armrests. There are times I move the chair and the armrests move forward or backward. It would be nice to lock the armrests in place.Thank you.
