Purchased this guy to work from home. If you get online to read about office chairs you will quickly become overwhelmed, as everyone has a different opinion, is trying to pedal their junk, or whatever. I've been sitting on office furniture for almost 40 years, so will try and give an honest unbiased take. The chair came in a pretty standard box, and everything was found well wrapped and secured. No damage on this when it was unpacked. Assembly is very straight forward, and the average person should be able to assemble with the included tools in less than an hour. The chair has a bit of weight to it, and the pieces feel good quality, with no real visible plastic and most parts being fake suede and metal. The stitching around each cushion looks good, and while padding on the back isn't perfect (head rest area is a big flat initially) it does seem to exceed the price point. The chair offers a reclining motion, which is nice and can be adjusted for tension or locked out all together. For the money, the chair is very supportive and offers good bolster and lumbar. Some may find that the seat is too long, but I (at 5'10") personally dont care if I can flat foot the floor- which I can with the chair leveled with my desk. Swivel function is smooth, and the hydraulic feels decent. Time will tellThe padding is firm but supportive- which is nice if you plan to sit in it for hours on end for days on end- which I am. The arm rests have a bit of physical adjustment in-and-out while assembling, so you can kinda tailor the area to fit your size. I put mine in the middle, and at 191# feel I could have drawn them all the way in.Back support is good and non intrusive. You can move around in the pan area of the seat and gain support from the bolster, of if the type that sits with a pillow you could do this as well.I cannot speak on longevity, or how the suede will weather but right now for taking a shot in the dark and buying off looks I give this a gold star. I'll update as this goes along into my adventures.TL:DR at the end.The inspiration for purchase:I ordered this office chair as part of turning a spare bedroom into an office/gaming room. Along with this product, I purchased a desk, two side tables, shelving, a computer monitor and scooter wheels for this chair. I was going for an industrial/leather vibe, and this chair jumped out to me out of the 2,000+ options on amazon. The combination material, color and price point sold me. This chair won out of 10 I had on a wish list.Packaging: 5/5This chair arrives in a very sizable box. The chair was tightly secured in styrofoam. The box did have some slight damage, but the chair remained intact! (Note, this damage is not on Amazon's part, as it was delivered by FedEx). The chair only has a handful of pieces, so I was glad it was so tightly packaged opposed to anything floating loosely. The hardware and instructions also come packaged in plastic.Assembly:This chair was VERY easy to put together. it took me about 20 minutes, and I did so by myself. The instructions were very clear, and the hardware came packaged and labeled for an even easier assembly process.Support/feel:This chair was surprisingly comfortable. After 6 straight hours of sitting in it for work, I was never once displeased with the design of this product. The cousin has support, while also allowing for some give so you sort of "sink into" the chair. However, it is NOT the most "puffy" chair I have ever sat in. I tend to prefer chairs on the harder side. It isn't memory foam by any stretch of the means. The seat also has these wide "wings" on either side that support your thighs, which also feel very nicely. HOWEVER, this is the ONE downside to this chair - this design does NOT allow for anyone who is on the larger side to sit on this chair - it does not have any way to move these. So if you are any larger than say, a size 38 waist, it MIGHT be worth it to look elsewhere for a chair. Although I sit comfortably, my father (who is a bit larger) cannot fit. In fact, before my recent diet (down 50lbs), I am not sure I would have fit. See pictures to see what I am talking about.Look/design: (see attached photos)Beyond the above complain, this chair checks EVERYTHING else off the list. The dark brown faux-leather looks great. The orange stitching also adds a subtle and smart pop-of-color that is not too strong or too much. The material is very comfortable and does not get too hot. The chair also has an option to lock the back in place, OR allow it to lean back. The lean is very deep and surprisingly comfortable. After a few hours in the chair, I will unlock it to lean back and I boy, oh, boy - my back cracks like a glowstick! Of note, there is no variable lumbar-support. If you require extra support, you would either need to get something after-market or look for another chair. Although this does not bother me - if you have a bad back, this chair is not for you.Pros:Great lookEasy AssemblyGreat price pointAmazing for "chair leaners"Thin wheel/stand profile, appears to take up less spaceCons:No adjustable lumbar supportArm rests only have one height/non-adjustableNot very wide - not for anyone who is on the thicker sideFinal thoughts:I believe this chair was the best bang for my buck. Purchased for looks, keeping for comfort. I would give this a 4.6 if possible, as the size restrictions does not make any sense. As this is not an issue for me, I say it is a keeper! My husband and I were able to assemble this chair in about half an hour. It is rather heavy and bulky, but it is also sturdy, and unlikely to collapse. Even without assistance, or written/verbal instructions we were able to assemble this chair. It is truly intuitive. The fabric is lovely, and the chair really does hug your body. My only complaint is the lack of lumbar support. Otherwise it is a wonderful chair. This is a very comfortable chair that's also quite attractive. I have business friends that come over and think its worth four times as much! Great buy and well worth the cost. Its a tiny bit complicated to put together, but no chair like this isn't. You wont be disappointed, I certainly haven't been. The chair is very nice, easy to assemble, looks amazing as a desk chair. Most importantly is the customer service, i had an issue with one of the pieces, and I contacted amazon they connected me to the seller, and they responded within no time, and sent me the needed pieces immediately. I recommend this seller and product. The chair doesn't recline to the perfect spot for me, but it works fine for the wife. So I guess we need a his and her chairs.Overall, the chair is nice and comfortable. Exactly what we were looking for.So far, there's nothing to dislike about this chair. I've had it for a day and I'm really pleased. Time will tell though but I would say I'm optimistic about it because it seems very well made from good material. I think it scores most on style for me! I recommend it.
